New T Shirt Store Finally Open

I know I haven't been posting in a while but I was super busy (who isn't these days I know!)
I opened a new store on etsy where I will be selling hand screened clothing for men and women,
https://www.etsy.com/shop/DeadRingerDesign
I have been researching and learning all I can about screen printing onto a fabric and having a lot of fun.
I started with my Polish Roots as an inspiration.Wycinanki is a Polish word for papercut and it has been a big part of Polish Folk Art for centuries.
I first hand cut my design out of a black paper, then transferred it to the silk screen and printed design with water based ink for beautiful vintage look. All handmade (but the t shirt)....

obsessed with velvet!

So I have been on a velvet binge since the fall keeping everything velvet bought for the store for myself but its hard to find and everything new and good is soooo expensive. I decided I will try a DIY project this week since I want something with color and velvet.
Here are some inspirations:

Philadelphia visit!!!

Philadelphia
I haven't been to Philly in a long long time maybe 8-9 years. Last time I went with my best-friend in college years, we then slept in a car since the hostel we booked was plain awful, if I remember correctly there was a rat running out of it... Hostels in United States are in so much worst shape compared to european hostels. I have never had a good experience staying in hostels here but in Europe I always stay in them.Well this is history now.
This time I am staying in Sofitel, can't wait to take a nice bath, enjoy complimentary robe and watch some cable. But most of all I am excited to go and explore the streets and vintage shops. I am going to vintage warehouse in Philadelphia hopefully it's a great place and I will be able to find some cute gems. I have been on a hunt for some floral pants for myself and 70s turtlenecks. I will post when I come back.

resort 2013

Ohhh thank goodness Gucci, I was about to start yawning if another heavy print on print would walk the runway. I love this masculine feel to Gucci's new collection...and the 70s are so feminine as well.
I love the style of these photographs too, simple and beautiful. There are some things hard to adjust...the shoes just too light for this collection but all together very optimistic and hopefully ending the heavy pattern on pattern fashion
What do you think?

Another front runner for me is Celine with the collection for resort 2013, I love the vintage scarf pattern/print although not solely Celine I believe Chloe also had similiar idea...but seriously how does that happen? Nonetheless I love this collection:

and Chloe is just sooooo wearable...love it!
